Typically any property owner or corporate entity who wants to install a water, electrical, sewer, or other utility over, under, or along a Stevens County road.

Who decides if a franchise agreement is to be issued?
Franchise Agreements are approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

How long does it take to process a franchise agreement?
It generally takes 6-8 weeks to process a franchise application.

How much does it cost?
The cost is between $250.00 and $1500.00 depending on franchise type plus a $300.00 permit fee to work on a County road for private property owners.
